I'd like to share more about the storage shelves. We have them for sale in our eBay store Camerons Toyz. They are made from either MDF woodproducts or Plywood both with wood trim. the shelf trays are made from a hardboard or tile board.
He makes them in an 8.5" X 11" or 12" X12" and at various heights. He maybe able to do custom shelves to the size you want just ask. The email is: http://findit@cameronstoyz.com
